Pictures, Popularity, and Clothes

They all eventually fade

But your impression has lasted

Tattooed on my brain

Etched in memories

That can’t be erased

Food for thought to digest

Still room left on my plate

I breathe in to inhale

Each moment

And dread its release

In more ways than one

You have brought

To my life, an increase

Crossroads connect for

What seems like seconds

No need for timers

Or Microsoft Outlook reminders

Cause this right here is epic

So much so that

I’m watching myself reach out

To only collide with

A glass barrier

So near, yet so distant

But whatever the case

This tattoo remains

When all else fades

You are left engraved in my brain
